About The Position

DaVita is looking for a Clinical Administrative Assistant that is also an Experienced Dialysis Tech to serve our patients at our Shaker Square Dialysis in Cleveland, OH. This is a dual role - Shifts will typically range between 8hrs (AA) and 12hrs (PCT) and will potentially float to other clinics in the region. Our PCTs also find DaVita professionally fulfilling. Requirements

Must be experienced and certified as a Dialysis Technician
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be comfortable working around blood and needles
Must be comfortable mixing acid or bicarb
Flexibility and availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Physical and mental ability to work long hours (some shifts are 12+ hours) on your feet so wear comfortable shoes!
BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT).

Some AA experience preferred (but will train right candidate)

Responsibilities

Screen all people entering the clinic for COVID (questions and temp along with providing a mask)
Process admission requests and follow up with hospitals to assure we have all required documents to accept patients
Admit and discharge patients in computer system
Document appointments and follow up with offices to receive appointment notes
Order office supplies
Filing, good organizational skills, desire to learn DaVita specific systems quickly
Prioritize tasks throughout the day/week even when unexpected things happen
Clear and prompt communication with team, practitioners, and outside partners
Complete tasks in a timely manner
Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed.
