About The Position
The Educational Diagnostician is responsible for coordinating and conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services under IDEA and Section 504, and for supporting ARD/IEP development. The diagnostician ensures compliance with federal, state, and district regulations while collaborating with campus staff, families, and related service providers to promote appropriate instructional programming for students with disabilities.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Educational Diagnostician or related field
- Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician Certificate issued by SBEC
- Knowledge of IDEA, Texas Education Code, and 19 TAC Chapter 89
