About The Position

Nissan of Louisville is looking for an experienced Senior Diagnostic Technician to join our shop. We need someone who knows how to diagnose the tough stuff, is comfortable working with electrical and computer-controlled systems and can help other technicians when they get stuck on a problem. This is a hands-on position. You’ll spend your time diagnosing vehicles, making repairs, and helping make sure the job is done correctly the first time. You’ll be working on a wide range of Nissan vehicles and handling some of the more complicated diagnostic and repair work that comes through the shop. That includes electrical problems, network communication issues, drivability concerns, mechanical failures, and newer vehicle systems. You should be comfortable using factory information and professional scan tools to work through a problem instead of just throwing parts at it. You’ll also be someone the other technicians can come to when they need another set of eyes on a difficult diagnosis. Being willing to share your experience and help newer technicians is an important part of this position.
