About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Diagnostic Tech - Cardiology for an exciting Travel or Local job in Hyannis, MA. This role involves performing a variety of diagnostic tests and procedures within a healthcare setting.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy Certification (PBT)
- EKG Certification
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform blood draws and collect clinical specimens with proper patient identification
- Instruct patients on specimen collection procedures
- Conduct non-invasive cardiac testing (EKGs, Holter monitors, stress tests)
- Accurately document patient information and test results
- Ensure lab requisitions and documentation are complete and compliant
- Troubleshoot specimen collection issues and resolve patient concerns
- Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding orders and workflow
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas following PPE protocols
- Manage inventory, stock supplies, and report shortages
- Assist with training and mentoring staff and students
- Support quality assurance initiatives and process improvements
- Provide excellent patient service and maintain professional relationships
