This Diagnostic Sonographer position is within the Ultrasound department and is responsible for performing ultrasound procedures according to established departmental policies and procedures to ensure optimal patient care.

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Certification - Others
  • Relevant Work Experience
  • Less than 1 year of experience
  • Graduate of an approved discipline specific program

Responsibilities

  • Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate, and cost-effective imaging.
  • Applies a broad range of skills to ensure exams are completed timely and meet quality and compliance standards.
  • Provides appropriate Diagnostic Sonographer screening to patients, staff, and self according to prescribed safety standards.
  • Assists in the orientation and training of new staff.
  • Performs ultrasound procedures in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.
