Graduate of an approved discipline specific program

Responsibilities

Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate, and cost-effective imaging.
Applies a broad range of skills to ensure exams are completed timely and meet quality and compliance standards.
Provides appropriate Diagnostic Sonographer screening to patients, staff, and self according to prescribed safety standards.
Assists in the orientation and training of new staff.
Performs ultrasound procedures in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.
