About The Position

This is a full-time, 100% FTE position for a Diagnostic Respiratory Therapist. The role involves working day shifts, Monday through Friday, with four 10-hour shifts from 0700 to 1730. The position is located at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in northern Illinois. The role may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay. Requirements

Graduate of an AMA accredited educational program for Respiratory Care.
Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner.
BLS/CPR Certified.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).

Nice To Haves

1 year experience with Pulmonary Function Diagnostics.
2 years experience in Respiratory Care, including ICU.
Current CPFT or RPFT certification preferred; must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
