About The Position

Spectrum Healthcare Partners is seeking a board-eligible/board-certified diagnostic Radiologist with fellowship training to join their highly profitable, progressive Radiology group. The successful candidate will also have strong general radiology skills, focusing primarily on their field of fellowship training. The role involves providing primary coverage at hospitals serving Eastern & Coastal Maine communities. The group aims to expand over the next year with new sites of coverage. This full-time position offers a two-year to partnership track opportunity with reasonable, equally shared call expectations. Overnight work is offloaded to an affiliated nighthawk service. New associates receive 10 weeks of vacation annually, increasing to 12 weeks for partners, with potential for up to 16 weeks or more. The practice operates on a fair and equitable work model, with a near equal division of labor and benefits. They do not track RVUs or individual productivity, emphasizing camaraderie, collegiality, work ethic, collaboration, and a reasonable work/life balance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary coverage at hospitals serving Eastern & Coastal Maine communities.
  • Focus on general radiology with an emphasis on the field of fellowship training.
  • Collaborate with orthopedists for advanced neuroimaging and MSK imaging.
  • Perform a wide portfolio of advanced imaging daily, including virtual colonoscopies, prostate MRIs, PET-CTs, and oncologic imaging.
  • Conduct a considerable volume of interventional procedures, ranging from imaging-guided biopsies and drainages to tumor ablation, embolization, and TIPS.
