About The Position

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (DRT) specialized requirement in Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our dynamic team at the Veterans Affairs Long Beach Healthcare System (VALBHS).

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current work experience in Computed Tomography (CT).
• Hold a current valid ARRT (R) and Advanced ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) certification for CT modality.
• Demonstrated experience starting Intravenous (IV) and contrast injections.
• Picture Achieving & Communication Systems (PACS) work experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Software (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).

Nice To Haves

• IV certification is preferred but not required.
• AGFA PACS experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiological procedures in Computed Tomography (CT).
• Start Intravenous (IV) and contrast injections.
• Utilize Picture Achieving & Communication Systems (PACS).
• Utilize basic computer skills and Microsoft Office Software (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).
