About The Position

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for an experienced Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist – X-Ray to provide imaging services supporting Veterans through the VA Portland Health Care System. This is an on-site VA healthcare environment with potential opportunities in Portland, Vancouver, and Salem locations. Shifts may be 8-, 9-, or 10-hours, and rotating weekends/holidays may be required. Occasional overtime may also be required. This role offers the opportunity to support Veteran healthcare.

Requirements

• 2 years of diagnostic X-ray experience
• Experience operating diagnostic radiology equipment
• Recent X-ray experience in a hospital setting within the last year
• Ability to perform routine, complex, and portable radiographic exams
• Knowledge of radiation safety and infection-control practices

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and portable X-ray examinations
• Position patients and select appropriate imaging techniques
• Review images for diagnostic quality
• Maintain accurate imaging and patient records
