Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
About The Position
A healthcare facility located about an hour from Butte, Montana, is seeking a full-time Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. The sonographer provides diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures. The role is responsible for daily sonography-room operations, patient scheduling, equipment maintenance, reporting equipment failures, and quality assessment processes. The sonographer maintains high medical-ethics standards and is self-motivated to expand their understanding and knowledge of the field, diseases, and evolving procedures. Pay is $34.04–$45.38 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).
Requirements
- Active ARDMS certification.
- BLS certification upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- ARDMS specialties in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures.
- Manage daily operations of the sonography room and patient schedule.
- Maintain equipment and report equipment failures.
- Participate in quality assessment processes.
- Maintain a high standard of medical ethics.
- Increase understanding and knowledge of the field, disease, and new procedures as they evolve.
