About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for our Ultrasound Department at Baptist Medical Center in Downtown Jacksonville, Florida. This is a full-time opportunity, working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons/evenings (1:30 PM–10:00 PM) and Saturday days (10:00 AM–10:00 PM). At Baptist Health, our Diagnostic Sonographers play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care through advanced imaging by performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, assisting physicians, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.
Requirements
- 1-2 Years of Experience Working in a Hospital Setting
- 1-2 years Hospital-based department-specific work experience
- Ultrasound Experience
- Experience with vascular ultrasound
- Customer Service Experience
- Must pass certification in Sonography from the ARDMS or ARRT (S) within 18 months of hire date.
- Will undergo Level II Background screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
Responsibilities
- Performs high-quality, diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral vascular procedures.
- Promotes goodwill among coworkers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
- Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
