About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for our Ultrasound Department at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a Full-Time, Day shift opportunity. At Baptist Health, our Diagnostic Sonographers play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care through advanced imaging by performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, assisting physicians, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.
Requirements
- 1-2 Years of Experience Working in a Hospital Setting
- 1-2 years Hospital-based department-specific work experience
- Ultrasound Experience
- Experience with vascular ultrasound
- Customer Service Experience
- If hired, must pass certification in Sonography from the ARDMS or ARRT (S) within 18 months of hire date.
- Positions designated as requiring a level II Background (A detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
Responsibilities
- Performs high-quality, diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral vascular procedures.
- Promotes goodwill among coworkers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanour with all patients.
- Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
