About The Position

Remarkable Careers.” We are currently looking for CRGS certified, or soon to be certified, Ultrasound Technologists (Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) to join our expanding outpatient clinic practice in Leduc in a full-time or part-time position. Working collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals, you’ll explain procedures, position patients, adjust equipment, and capture diagnostic images. Bringing compassion and clarity to each patient interaction, you’ll help ensure remarkable care every visit.

Requirements

  • Certified Registered Generalist Sonographer (CRGS) through Sonography Canada, or eligible to obtain.
  • Current registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT), or eligibility for registration.
  • Clinical competency as a generalist sonographer, with an interest in refining and expanding skills in advanced practice areas such as MSK, OB/GYN, vascular and cardiac exams, and interventional procedures.
  • A history of remarkable care, collaboration, adaptability, and flexibility.
  • Eligibility for registration with the ACMDTT is required for out-of-province applicants.
  • All applicants must have legal authorization to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in breast, MSK, OB/GYN, vascular, cardiac ultrasound exams, or in interventional procedures, is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and specialized sonography imaging under the direction of Radiologists and referring Physicians, while adhering to departmental protocols and guidelines.
  • Explain exams and procedures, address questions, ease concerns, and help patients feel comfortable.
  • Partner with radiologists and other teams to help deliver a seamless and thoughtful experience.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to refine existing skills, build new competencies, and specialize in additional skillsets such as Interventional, MSK, and Breast.
  • Follow privacy, confidentiality, safety, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Track ultrasound equipment performance, document findings, and resolve basic issues.
  • Prepare and stock exam rooms for exams and procedures; report low inventory as needed.
