Diagnostic Maintainability and Deployment Engineer

Stellantis•Auburn Hills, MI

About The Position

The Diagnostic Maintainability and Deployment Engineer develops technical policies for the vehicle assembly plant's end-of-line processes and for vehicle diagnosability and service. These documents detail required tests, their justifications, applicability, and all Tester data accessible via the OBD port. The engineer collects diagnostic requirements from other teams, incorporates necessary elements for diagnosability, end-of-line/aftersales support, and analysis, consolidating them into a deliverable work product called DDT Mark-Up. This role also defines Environmental Parameters readable on all propulsion ECUs for first-level fault analysis and develops technical documentation for propulsion controllers based on diagnostic specifications, outlining service repair actions. Additionally, the engineer is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and organizing propulsion system component information for specific programs, ensuring accurate documentation and impact assessment on plant and aftersales processes to support program execution and cross-functional collaboration.
