About The Position

The Diagnostic Imaging Service at the University of Florida Veterinary Hospital is seeking a highly organized, detail oriented Diagnostic Imaging Service Representative to provide administrative and clerical support for the service. This role functions primarily as an administrative assistant, supporting daily operations, compliance activities, medical record documentation, and staffing coordination. The position manages the dosimetry badge program, ensuring students, staff, and faculty remain compliant with radiation monitoring requirements through accurate tracking, coordination, and record keeping. In addition, the role oversees scheduling for veterinary assistants and veterinary student assistants assigned to the service, ensuring appropriate coverage. Responsibilities include confirming hours worked and reviewing and approving time entries in the University of Florida timekeeping system in accordance with university policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three years of relevant experience
• Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs, bend, kneel, pull, push, twist and stand for an extended period of time
