About The Position

The Diagnostic Imaging Assistant will provide overall support to the Diagnostic Imaging department in adherence to practice standards and requirements. This role involves transporting patients safely and efficiently, providing necessary care, safety, and monitoring during transport and waiting periods, maintaining equipment, ensuring adequate supplies, and collaborating with patients and healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and collaborate with patients, healthcare workers, and providers
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, or the ability to quickly learn and effectively use EHR software
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail

• Recent patient care experience

Responsibilities

• Transport patients utilizing safe and efficient transportation methods.
• Provide the necessary care, safety, and monitoring of patients during transport and waiting periods in the department.
• Maintain equipment in proper working order reporting malfunctions immediately to appropriate personnel.
