About The Position
We are looking for A level technicians who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests. Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity and a philosophy of people first. All 300+ CBA locations offer a modern facility equipped with manufacture-level diagnostic equipment and the latest factory scan tools. CBA shops also offer their technicians a consistent workload, free training, full-time live technician support and access to our private Technician Assistance Center.
Requirements
- Strong aptitude for diagnosing drivability issues on all makes and models
- Ability to process through drivability issues with a strong pace
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
Nice To Haves
- Experience with manufacture diagnostic equipment a plus
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- A desire for long-term career development
Responsibilities
- Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guests
- Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
- Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate guest concerns
- Work together with other Technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results
