The Diagnostic Account Executive (AE) is responsible for the promotion and sales of the diagnostic technology to laboratories in assigned geographic territory. This role involves exceeding quota on all assigned product lines, placing instrumentation by effectively selling to prospects and customers, and performing account management effectively to maintain current base business. The AE will effectively block competitive activity and convert competitive accounts to Hologic, develop and achieve accurate sales forecasts of reagents and capital equipment, and attend local and national professional trade shows and events to promote products. Additionally, the AE will keep abreast of local billing and reimbursement issues and lead the planning of overall strategy for the team, including DSSs, CAS/FAS, and the Management Team.
