The DEXA Technician performs a variety of technical work related to the taking and processing of x-ray films and work relative to the department's scope of activities as required. Requirements
- Graduate of a Bone Densitometry Program or Radiology Program (CRT).
- Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist or Upon hire: California Limited Permit X-Ray Technician Bone Densitometry Permit.
- Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Bone Densitometry.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a DEXA Technician; 2 years preferred.
