DEXA Technician — Part Time

BodySpecDenver, CO
Onsite

About The Position

As a DEXA Technician at BodySpec, you’ll spend your shifts doing the work that drew you to health and wellness in the first place. You’ll sit one-on-one with people who came into our Denver storefront specifically to learn real, measurable things about their bodies, running their DEXA scans and walking them through what the results mean. No memberships to sell, no client book to build, no busywork that doesn’t actually help anyone, just preventive health work that makes a real difference, one scan at a time. We’re the premier DEXA operator in the country, helping people understand and improve their health through accessible body composition scanning.

Requirements

  • Based in Denver, CO and able to work in-person at our storefront.
  • Available part-time for weekend coverage, either Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday. Shifts are 8 hours.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (equipment handling).
  • 0-2 years of customer-facing experience (flexible if you can demonstrate the skills).
  • Ability to thrive with direct, unfiltered feedback. We’ll tell you exactly what you need to improve.

Nice To Haves

  • Backgrounds in personal training, health coaching, fitness, or nutrition (or degrees in kinesiology, exercise science, or related fields) are common but not required.
  • If you’ve taken standardized tests (SAT, ACT, ASVAB, or similar), please share your scores. Not required and not the sole factor, but it helps us calibrate since we don’t run pre-employment testing.
