About The Position

DGD Clinic is seeking a skilled, dependable, and patient-focused DEXA Technician to join their growing team. This role involves performing DEXA procedures while providing compassionate, high-quality patient care. The DEXA Technician will play an important role in ensuring accurate studies, maintaining patient safety, supporting efficient department operations, and creating a positive experience for every patient. Requirements

Experienced in performing DEXA scans.
Knowledgeable about DEXA standards, procedures, and safety requirements.

High School Diploma or equivalent required
DEXA Certification required
Practical experience performing DEXA scans

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of related experience preferred

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality DEXA scans in accordance with established standards and procedures.
Operate radiographic and related support equipment safely and effectively.
Follow all applicable safety standards to protect patients during procedures.
Coordinate and prioritize procedures throughout the workday to maintain efficient patient flow and continuity of care.
Evaluate studies for quality and demonstrate sound judgment in image critique.
Routinely monitor equipment and promptly report issues that could affect workflow or patient care.
Maintain accurate, complete, and well-organized documentation.
Assist with downloading ultrasound studies into patient charts.
Complete orders, documentation, and other items within the DEXA workflow/bucket.
Maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with applicable privacy requirements.
Support the department and clinical team with additional responsibilities as needed.
