About The Position
Diabetes and Endocrine Specialists is a premier endocrinology and diabetes center located in beautiful La Mesa. Led by top endocrinologists and supported by a highly skilled clinical team, we provide exceptional patient care using advanced technology and individualized protocols. We are seeking an experienced DEXA Scan Radiology Technician to join our team on a part‑time basis (1–2 days per week). This role focuses exclusively on performing bone density scans for active patients within our busy endocrine practice. The DEXA Scan Radiology Technician is responsible for performing bone mineral density studies (spine, hip, forearm) using our GE Lunar Prodigy BMD Scanner. This position offers a consistent weekly shift with the flexibility to schedule patients around your availability.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year performing DEXA scans (Required)
- Must reliably commute to or plan to relocate to La Mesa, CA 91942
- In‑person

Responsibilities
- Deliver patient‑centered care aligned with clinical guidelines and individual needs
- Review medical records and prepare patients for DEXA procedures, clearly explaining the process in English
- Accurately document patient information in our electronic medical record (EMR) system while maintaining strict confidentiality
- Operate the GE Lunar Prodigy DEXA Scanner and generate diagnostic reports
- Adhere to all privacy, safety, and PPE protocols
- Maintain a professional and supportive environment for patients and staff
