Responsible for coordinating and performing an age-specific patient assessment prior to and during the Radiologic procedure, preparing the room and the patient for the procedure, and recording the images. Utilizes radiology equipment accurately, evaluates the quality of the study, and performs procedure management. Communicates with the patient, family, and other healthcare workers and contributes to the efficient operation of the department.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
Current State of Montana Radiologic Technology license required
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
Current BLS certification

Nice To Haves

BS degree preferred

Responsibilities

Coordinating and performing an age-specific patient assessment prior to and during the Radiologic procedure
Preparing the room and the patient for the procedure
Recording the images
Utilizing radiology equipment accurately
Evaluating the quality of the study
Performing procedure management
Communicating with the patient, family, and other healthcare workers
Contributing to the efficient operation of the department
Performing all job duties or job tasks as assigned
Following and adhering to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency
Complying with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures
