About The Position

The Dewax Operator is responsible for tagging molds properly, de-hooking, grinding, dewaxing, flash firing, and programming fire molds. This role requires providing the floor area with product on time, running sensitive equipment, and lifting up to 30 pounds repeatedly. The operator must provide quality product by following all O.I. instructions and PES requirements, assist and support the 6S program, and be a team player to meet production goals. The job conditions are good, but the role can be extremely hot, dusty, and physically and mentally demanding at times.

Requirements

High school education
Three months OJT training
Normal initiative and ingenuity
Lift/move from 20-30 pounds up to 4 times per hour
Responsible for self

Tag molds properly
De-hook molds
Grind molds
Dewax molds
Flash fire molds
Program fire molds
Provide the floor area with product on time
Run sensitive equipment
Lift up to 30 pounds repeatedly
Provide quality product by following all O.I. instructions as well as PES requirements
Assist and support the 6S program
Be a Team Player to meet production goals
Make sure parts meet quality standards
Make sure you follow all safety rules
Willing to work daily overtime and weekend overtime as necessary
