About The Position

OASYS, INC., a Leading-Edge Government contractor in Huntsville Alabama, is seeking a Software Engineer with DevSecOps Cloud experience. Provide Continuous Integration / Continuous Development cloud-based support our Air Force customer in our facility Research Park, Huntsville, AL.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in DevSecOps. Cybersecurity, software security, or related technical roles are a plus.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoW Secret Clearance; an active Secret Clearance is strongly preferred.
Experience with development environments including version control systems, security tools, and pipeline automation solutions.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Engaging with a team of software engineers, providing technical support for the design, implement, and maintenance of a secure CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar platform.
Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.
Integrate security scanning and testing tools into automated pipelines, including SAST, DAST, SCA, and container security scanners.
Assist in developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Contribute to containerized application deployments and support secure configurations within Docker and Kubernetes environments.
Help enforce security policies, compliance standards, and DevSecOps best practices across development and deployment workflows.
Participate in automating security monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response processes.
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to embed security controls throughout the software development lifecycle.
Contribute to compliance efforts aligned with NIST, STIGs, FedRAMP, and other relevant security frameworks.
Participate in security assessments, penetration testing activities, and vulnerability remediation.
Support troubleshooting of security, infrastructure, and software issues in production and non-production environments.
Assist with ongoing software maintenance to ensure performance, reliability, and adherence to secure coding standards.
Participate in code reviews and requirement gathering discussions with cross functional teams.
