About The Position

OASYS, INC., a Leading-Edge Government contractor in Huntsville Alabama, is seeking a Software Engineer with DevSecOps Cloud experience. Provide Continuous Integration / Continuous Development cloud-based support our Air Force customer in our facility Research Park, Huntsville, AL.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in DevSecOps. Cybersecurity, software security, or related technical roles are a plus.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoW Secret Clearance; an active Secret Clearance is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with development environments including version control systems, security tools, and pipeline automation solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Cybersecurity, software security, or related technical roles are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Engaging with a team of software engineers, providing technical support for the design, implement, and maintenance of a secure CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar platform.
  • Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.
  • Integrate security scanning and testing tools into automated pipelines, including SAST, DAST, SCA, and container security scanners.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Contribute to containerized application deployments and support secure configurations within Docker and Kubernetes environments.
  • Help enforce security policies, compliance standards, and DevSecOps best practices across development and deployment workflows.
  • Participate in automating security monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response processes.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to embed security controls throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to compliance efforts aligned with NIST, STIGs, FedRAMP, and other relevant security frameworks.
  • Participate in security assessments, penetration testing activities, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Support troubleshooting of security, infrastructure, and software issues in production and non-production environments.
  • Assist with ongoing software maintenance to ensure performance, reliability, and adherence to secure coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and requirement gathering discussions with cross functional teams.
