About The Position

FP Markets Group of Companies is a well-established multi-regulated broker, found in Australia, offering traders access to CFD trading on Forex, Indices, Commodities, Stocks and Cryptocurrencies. We are growing and looking to recruit a Full-time DevSecOps Engineer, working Remotely. We are looking for a hands-on DevSecOps Engineer who can independently design and build full-cycle infrastructure from scratch, including high-level architecture design, security integration, automation, and scalable cloud/network solutions. The ideal candidate should be able to confidently explain technical decisions, assemble complex systems from different components, and take ownership of DevSecOps infrastructure end-to-end.

Requirements

  • 3+ hands-on experience with AWS services
  • 1+ years of experience SIEM, EDR (splunk, wazuh, crowdstrike)
  • 3+ with Ansible for configuration management and automation
  • 3+ years experience in networking including L2/L3 concepts, VLANs, VXLAN, switching, and routing
  • 3+ years experience in scripting for automation (Python, Bash)
  • Solid experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code in cloud and onprem
  • Experience in vulnerability management
  • Experience with overlay network technologies and software-defined networking (ZeroTrust, Wireguard, Zero-Tier, Netbird, Tailscale)
  • Experience with network automation and programmability (FortiGate, Aruba)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience designing and building DevSecOps infrastructure from scratch, including high-level system architecture and full lifecycle implementation
  • Ability to independently design infrastructure solutions and explain architectural decisions

Nice To Haves

  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Experience with SSO, Keycloak, Hashicorp Vault

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of infrastructure services
  • Design and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform
  • Automate network and server configuration with Ansible
  • Optimize cloud resources and implement cost-effective solutions
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Implement security best practices and compliance automation
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams
