In this role you will get to: What You'll Be Doing: Work directly with DCDC customers and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver software solutions. Provide technical guidance and explain software and data-streaming concepts to technical and nontechnical stakeholders. Participate in customer demonstrations and technical discussions. Translate customer requirements into implementable software designs. Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services. Design, implement, and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the software build, test, and deployment processes. Integrate various tools and technologies to streamline development workflows and improve efficiency. Manage and configure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and scalability of cloud-based applications and infrastructure on an AWS Platform This position is part of our Federal Solutions team. Requirements

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 5+ years of CI/CD experience.
  • Experience developing production software using Java or a comparable programming language.
  • Hands-on experience with terraform, ansible, Git, Gitlab, Artifactory, Nexus, CheckMarx, Trivy, Grype, and Syft- or similar technologies
  • Proficient in Linux/Unix systems administration, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), automation (Python, Go, Bash, Ansible, Terraform), monitoring and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog), and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Git and modern software-development workflows.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or another container-orchestration platform.
  • Experience troubleshooting distributed systems.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • Active Secret clearance is required to start with ability to obtain a TS/SCI if required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree
  • Experience with Rancher, OpenShift, RKE2, Harvester, Nutanix, vSphere, or Proxmox.
  • Experience with AWS GovCloud, IL5, or IL6 environments.
  • Knowledge of DoD CIO Kubernetes reference architectures, STIGs, Platform One, Iron Bank, or container hardening.
  • Experience with SRE and platform-as-a-product practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with Zero Trust, SBOM generation, and software-supply-chain security.
  • Experience leading technical teams across development, test, and production environments.
