About The Position

DLH is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing cybersecurity solutions across enterprise cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments. This position will support modernization initiatives including Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), Trusted Internet Connections (TIC) 3.0, cloud security, security operations, vulnerability management, continuous monitoring, governance, and AI-enabled automation.

Requirements

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in DevSecOps, Security Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Systems Integration, and Security Automation
Strong experience with Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or similar scripting languages
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD platforms.
Hands-on experience with Power Apps, SQL, SharePoint, Azure, AWS, and GCP cloud environments
Knowledge of NIST RMF, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, FISMA, Zero Trust, and secure software development practices
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong cross-team collaboration and coordination across diverse audiences and stakeholders
Prior experience supporting federal agencies or large enterprise environments
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Nice To Haves

Relevant security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, SSCP, CISSP) and vendor-related certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure DevOps, Azure Security, GCP) preferred
Experience with ServiceNow, Splunk, Microsoft Defender, CyberArk, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 security (preferred)
Experience supporting ATO, continuous monitoring, and security automation initiatives (preferred)
Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled cybersecurity tools and cloud security frameworks (preferred)

Responsibilities

Build and maintain integrations between enterprise security platforms including Splunk, ServiceNow, Tenable, Microsoft Defender, CyberArk, Active Directory, and cloud-native tools
Design automation solutions to improve cybersecurity operations, compliance monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management
Develop dashboards, reporting, and data analytics solutions using Power BI, Power Apps, and related technologies
Support Zero Trust, FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST cybersecurity requirements
Support AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft 365 security initiatives
