About The Position

The Digital Sector is hiring a DevSecOps Engineer to support the Global Solutions Management – Operations II (GSM-O II) contract at DISA. The contract supports the operations, sustainment, maintenance, repair, and defense of the Defense Information System Network within the DOD Information Network, as well as DISA operational mission transformation and support for mission partners. The role is primarily remote, but the employee must live within commuting distance of Scott AFB, Illinois, or Fort Meade, Maryland, for on-site support. An interim DoD Secret clearance is required before the start date, and the employee must obtain a qualifying DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification within 60 days of starting. The posting also states that a Secret clearance is required upon employment start and that Security+ must be obtained within 14 days after the start date. The engineer develops and supports CI/CD pipelines, cloud and containerized applications, and monitoring and observability solutions. The position works with Agile and geographically distributed teams, integrates security and compliance into pipelines and production environments, and supports troubleshooting, automation, cost optimization, and certificate lifecycle operations.
