About The Position

We are seeking a Fullstack DevSecOps Engineer for a full-time, remote position with a federal client. Due to federal regulations and the sensitive nature of the work, the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance is required. This role involves a blend of full-stack development and DevSecOps practices within Agile environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Full Stack Development experience in DevSecOps and Agile environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, JEE, REST/JSON APIs, and microservices.
• Expertise in React and/or Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript for front-end development.
• Experience building and deploying enterprise applications on AWS Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Concourse, Git/GitHub, and DevSecOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application deployment.
• Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, TDD, and BDD for automated testing.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum, SDLC, code reviews, production support, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Federal government project experience.
• Active/prior security clearance.
• Experience with Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Cassandra, Tomcat, AWS Lambda, Kotlin/Scala, Prometheus, or similar technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy enterprise applications on AWS Cloud.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Concourse, and Git/GitHub.
• Implement DevSecOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Perform automated testing using Selenium, Cucumber, TDD, and BDD.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
