DevSecOps Engineer

We’re looking for an experience d DevOps infrastructure engineer like you to support our clients as they modernize their IT infrastructures and meet their most challenging missions. As a DevOps infrastructure engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll work closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions. You’ll apply your skills within a DevOps framework to establish or provision virtual machines or networks and use cloud service provider s to further your clients’ meaningful missions. Requirements
- Experience managing, configuring, patching, and monitoring Windows, Linux, or Unix environments, including advanced hardware, OS, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience implementing secure architectures, access controls, privilege management, and authentication mechanisms such as Active Directory and LDAP.
- Experience with incident detection and response, including log analysis, forensic investigations, or vulnerability management.
- Experience with CI / CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with configuration management and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, network setups, identity management, and cloud-native concepts such as serverless, containers, and microservices, across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and custom tooling.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree.
Nice To Haves
- Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions, involving Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, or Azure.
- Experience writing scripts using tools such as Python, Bash, or Boto3.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Experience with IaC.
- Experience creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks.
- Experience triaging and resolving issues related to both open-source and commercial tools in public cloud environments.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routing, and firewalls, and basic cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and CMMC.
- Secret clearance.
- Security Engineering or Cyber Engineering Certification.
- AWS, Azure, or GCP Certification.
