About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to design, build, secure, and deploy containerized microservices in a classified environment supporting mission-critical systems. This role focuses on the development of Kubernetes-based platforms, cloud-native architectures, and secure CI/CD pipelines. We're looking for a candidate who is confident and proactive in strengthening a DevSecOps culture, and seamlessly integrating security, automation, and resilience into existing engineering workflows. This position requires an Active Secret Clearance and is 100% on-site in Maynard, MA.

Requirements

This position requires an Active Secret Clearance; US Citizenship is required.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or similar roles
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with Linux environments and scripting (Bash, Python, or similar)
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Familiarity with basic monitoring and logging frameworks
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset

Nice To Haves

Background in space systems, missile defense, or aerospace programs
Experience with DoD DevSecOps ecosystems
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation, etc.)
Familiarity with security or compliance frameworks (NIST, RMF, etc.)
Experience with large-scale microservices architectures
Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, etc.)
Experience with hybrid networking and production-grade container orchestration solutions

Responsibilities

Contribute to the development and improvement of CI/CD pipelines
Support deployment, troubleshooting, and performance of containerized applications
Assist in building and maintaining secure, scalable cloud-based solutions
Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Help identify and address security risks across systems and workflows
Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for reliability and efficiency
Partner with development teams to resolve deployment challenges and optimize processes
Document tools, processes, and best practices to support team knowledge sharing
