The DevSecOps Engineer is an active participant in SAFe and Scrum development teams and meetings. This role involves automating and optimizing service deployments, integrating with enterprise authentication services, and establishing/improving system monitoring while maintaining established security protocols within development, test, and production systems. The engineer will architect, build, and maintain on-premise and/or cloud infrastructure, maintain and improve existing infrastructure (e.g., autoscaling, supporting new services, optimizing for cost efficiencies), and administer production, staging, and development environments. Responsibilities also include managing and aggregating server logs, monitoring for security and system-related incidents, analyzing system performance, maintaining and improving build and deployment processes using CI/CD tools, applying configuration management disciplines, enforcing best practices for security and reliability, working with A&A Teams to maintain security requirements, maintaining up-to-date documentation, performing after-actions reporting on outages, creating required metrics for dashboards, following up on engineering tasks, managing the operational readiness board, and tracking routine operations maintenance tasks. The role aligns with customer strategies, utilizes the customer's enterprise DevSecOps pipeline, and works with other service providers.
