About The Position

We are seeking a Principal DevSecOps Engineer to be responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.

Requirements

  • BS in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics with 5 years of experience as an engineering lead or 10 years of experience as an engineering lead, in lieu of a degree
  • 5 years of experience applying agile methodologies to the system development life cycle
  • 5 years of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code/Configuration-as-Code
  • 3 years of experience with Kubernetes
  • 3 years of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code Automation
  • DoD 8570 certification
  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years of experience with Commercial Cloud Services
  • 2 years of experience with GitOps
  • 2 years of experience with Helm

Responsibilities

  • Automating and deploying DevSecOps systems
  • Creating and updating Terraform scripts to support DevSecOps systems
  • Using GitOps tools, FluxCD to create, manage and deploy Helm Charts to Kubernetes clusters
  • Working with the Platform One suite of services including Party Bus and Big Bang
  • Troubleshooting and working with Kubernetes technology including pods, services, custom and custom resources
