DevSecOps Cloud Engineer

About The Position
Support CI/CD pipeline administration, maintenance, and enhancement activities across AWS cloud environments. Assist with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) development using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools. Monitor cloud environments and respond to operational alerts and incidents. Support automated deployment, patching, backup, and recovery processes. Participate in implementation of automation initiatives designed to reduce operational toil and improve deployment consistency.
Requirements
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
- US Citizenship is contractually required.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Minimum of ONE (1)+ year of work experience.
- Experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or systems administration experience.
- Basic understanding of AWS services, networking, and security concepts.
- Experience with Git, scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), and CI/CD tools.
Nice To Haves
- AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Associate Certification.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or container technologies.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, CloudWatch, Datadog, or Grafana.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Exposure to Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
