About The Position

This position is for a DevOps & Tools Engineer with a client in Wealth Management. The role requires understanding the entire DevOps pipeline, ideally from an AppDev background. The engineer will configure and support cloud-based Atlassian tools, develop tooling and processes for automation and security adherence, and implement strategies for improving DevOps processes. Responsibilities also include monitoring system availability and performance, and resolving issues based on SLAs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, computer science, math, or other science field required
• 4 Years of experience
• Must be a DevOps role today
• Experience with GitHub
• Experience with Jenkins
• Experience with PowerShell scripting
• Experience with Ansible usage
• Experience with Artifactory

Nice To Haves

• Prefer coming from a AppDev background
• Prefer some Terraform

Responsibilities

• Work with DevOps and Tools and Application Development Team Lead to define application and integration development processes
• Configure and support cloud based Atlassian tools
• Develop tooling and processes to increase automation of development and adherence to security and audit systems and controls
• Implement strategies for improving or further leveraging DevOps processes and tools
• Monitor system availability and performance within agreed upon timelines
• Resolve issues, alerts, and incidents based on predefined service level agreements
