We are dedicated to delivering impactful results to meet mission goals through cutting-edge technology and expertise. We are seeking a DevOps Team Lead to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a pivotal role in developing innovative and effective solutions for our DoD customers within the IC sector. We are seeking an experienced DevOps Team Lead to join our team. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, overseeing project development while contributing to the development and maintenance of cloud-based applications and/or services. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable writing code, architecting infrastructure, and guiding a team toward delivering reliable, scalable solutions.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of hands-on development experience building and deploying web applications (e.g., using JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go, Java, or similar languages).
3+ years of experience working with AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including core services (compute, networking, storage, identity management).
Strong proficiency with Terraform and Packer for infrastructure provisioning and image management.
2+ years of experience in a leadership or team lead role, including managing projects, setting priorities, and mentoring team members.
Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS, or AKS).
Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
Must have an active government issued clearance with poly.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of networking fundamentals including DNS, load balancing, VPNs, and firewalls.
Experience with scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working within Agile teams.
Experience with secrets management tools (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault).
Familiarity with database administration (SQL and/or NoSQL) and data migration strategies.
Experience with cost optimization strategies in multi-cloud environments.
Bachelor Degree in related technical competency.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of DevOps engineers and developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability.
Plan, coordinate, and drive development and infrastructure projects from inception through delivery, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business goals.
Contribute to and oversee the design, development, and deployment of web applications using modern frameworks and best practices.
Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud environments across AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency.
Design and implement infrastructure automation using Terraform and Packer, promoting reproducible, version-controlled infrastructure deployments.
Build and maintain robust continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to streamline code deployment and reduce release cycles.
Collaborate with cybersecurity team to embed best practices into the DevOps lifecycle, including secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance automation.
