DevOps Systems Engineer (Prime)

Intelliforce-IT Solutions GroupColumbia, MD
$176,000 - $226,000

About The Position

At Intelliforce, we build and sustain the platforms that mission applications depend on every day. In this role, you will support the Analytical Application team by helping keep systems secure, interoperable, automated, and ready for operational use. You will work across systems engineering, software engineering, Information Assurance, testing, and DevOps to sustain mission capabilities and improve how applications move through development, integration, and production environments. A major focus will be maintaining reliable data flows between upstream and downstream systems while helping modernize applications. This is a strong fit for an engineer who understands that successful DevOps is more than pipelines. It is the combination of automation, infrastructure, integration, security, observability, and engineering discipline needed to keep mission systems working together. This role sits at the intersection of platform engineering and mission integration. You will work on the technical foundation that allows applications, services, and data flows to operate together across a larger enterprise environment. You will help sustain existing capabilities while also refactoring and modernizing systems for greater interoperability within the platform. That means working across CI/CD, containerized environments, infrastructure automation, Linux systems, security compliance, data flows, and application integration rather than staying confined to one layer of the stack. At Intelliforce, your work is visible and your technical judgment matters. Because we support prime programs, our engineers stay close to the mission and the teams relying on these systems. Because we are a small business, leadership is accessible, communication is direct, and strong engineering gets noticed. Add in long-term stability, strong benefits, and a people-first culture, and this is an opportunity to have real influence over how a mission platform is built, integrated, and sustained.
