The DevOps Specialist (AWS/Azure Cloud) reports to the Manager, Product Development and works closely with 6 other DevOps Specialists. The candidate helps design quality infrastructure, facilitates the development and deployment process, implements the right technologies for our products, and improves the lives of fellow developers. The incumbent will be working with 5 important internal products: Connect, Plan, Analyse, Lifeguide, and Centralize.

Requirements

Technical Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology or College Diploma
5+ years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience in AWS or Azure
Strong experience with Kubernetes cluster management and operations
Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows
Strong knowledge of Linux, Git, Docker, and scripting (Bash, Python, or GoLang)
Solid understanding of security implementations
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Loki, Tempo or Prometheus) in Kubernetes environments
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex distributed systems
Excellent knowledge of French and English (spoken and written)
Strong sense of organization and prioritizing
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate, write and synthesize information.
Ability to multi-task in a rapid-paced environment
Team spirit, tact, diplomacy, autonomy, rigor, and discipline

Nice To Haves

Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure and Kubernetes)
Relevant experience in product development
Strong knowledge of Gitops/IaC tools (Opentofu, Terraform, FluxCD, ArgoCD)
Have a curiosity and a thirst for learning

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the development team to facilitate the development process
Automate and align the process of building (CI), deploying (CD), maintaining and upgrading the technologies supporting the application
Diagnose and resolve production issues in coordination with development teams
Manage access controls, security compliance, and implement security best practices across environments
Use GitOps (Terraform, Opentofu, FluxCD, ArgoCD) best practices
Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and security with proactive recommendations
Troubleshoot complex distributed systems and implement corrective measures
Optimize the use of the cloud in order to reduce operational costs
