DevOps / Platform Engineer
About The Position
Homekynd is building the spatial intelligence layer for enterprise retail. Our platform transforms photos into 3D room models and powers immersive furniture visualization at scale, deployed in physical retail stores and embedded across enterprise ecommerce. We're a remote-first team on a fast build timeline, and we need engineers who want real ownership over hard problems. As DevOps / Platform Engineer, you'll own the infrastructure that keeps the platform running at enterprise scale. Thousands of endpoints, real-time 3D asset delivery, contractual uptime requirements - this is infrastructure work with real stakes and direct business impact.
Requirements
- 5+ years managing production infrastructure at scale
- Strong expertise across AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Proven experience optimizing Node.js applications in production
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi
- Strong command of monitoring and logging systems (New Relic, Prometheus, or equivalent)
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience optimizing 3D processing pipelines or CDN integration
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
Responsibilities
- Architect and manage scalable cloud infrastructure for the 3D rendering platform
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with a focus on quality assurance and deployment reliability
- Monitor performance metrics and proactively address bottlenecks before they become incidents
- Scale and optimize MongoDB databases to handle growing user demand
- Build and maintain pipelines for delivering optimized 3D assets at scale
