About The Position

Apex Systems is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the deployment, automation, and operational management of a large-scale Data Private Cloud (DPC) platform and Security Hub solution. This role will focus on enabling containerized environments, automating infrastructure and deployment pipelines, and ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance across a complex, enterprise-grade platform.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration platforms, specifically OpenShift / Kubernetes environments
• Strong DevOps engineering experience, including building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
• Experience working in large-scale, distributed systems environments, supporting high-availability and scalable infrastructure
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation and environment management, including onboarding new services and maintaining platform stability
• Working knowledge of observability and reliability practices, including monitoring, logging, and performance optimization

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, including capacity planning and resilience design
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and real-time processing systems
• Experience supporting data platforms or data pipelines (e.g., Spark, Airflow environments)
• Exposure to security-focused platforms or compliance-driven systems
• Experience with AI-assisted or automated operational workflows

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for platform services and applications
• Support containerized environments, including deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of platform services
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using modern DevOps practices (e.g., Infrastructure as Code)
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support integration of applications, data pipelines, and security workflows into the platform
• Enable observability, monitoring, and performance optimization across services and environments
• Contribute to platform onboarding, scalability, and operational efficiency initiatives
