About The Position

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong Java development experience and a solid background in the Banking/Financial Services domain. This is a long-term contract position located in Atlanta, GA, requiring 5 days onsite. Local candidates only, no relocation assistance will be provided.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Strong AWS experience including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting/automation languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack).
• Strong production troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Mandatory banking domain experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform for managing infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Configure and manage monitoring and logging solutions such as AWS CloudWatch and the ELK Stack.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
• Apply Agile and DevOps best practices in daily work.
