About The Position

This role involves assessing and updating CI build and verification & promotion pipelines for GSD and R-BOT systems to function in both cloud and on-premises environments. The engineer will update and test these systems, provide support for their usage in on-premises environments, and resolve any defects that arise during testing. Additionally, the role requires writing unit and integration tests using chosen DevOps frameworks.

Requirements

• Python programming 5+ years' experience
• Experience writing unit and integration test with testing frameworks like pytest and unittest
• Working knowledge of Terraform (Enterprise preferred)
• Working knowledge of Docker (containerize applications & best practices)
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes & Helm

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of DevOps tools: GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Harness, and SonarQube
• HashiCorp Vault
• Knowledge of 3 Musketeers pattern (make, docker, and compose)

Responsibilities

• Assess the GSD CI build and verification & promotion pipelines that were built to run on the cloud against client backup on-premises environment and determine updates needed to run in both cloud and on-premises environments.
• Assess the R-BOT TFE and Harness application that was built to run on the cloud against client backup on-premises environment and determine updates needed to run in both cloud and on-premises environments.
• Update and test the GSD and R-BOT systems with the necessary changes based on assessment.
• Support usage of the GSD and R-BOT tools in the on-premises environments and resolve any defects when application teams start using and testing.
• Write unit and integration tests based on chosen DevOps frameworks.
