About The Position

The DevOps Engineer (Part- Time) supports mission-critical objectives under the referenced work order by designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure management, and ensuring scalable deployments across cloud and on-premises environments. This role creates environment-specific Kubernetes configuration packages with STIG-aligned hardening. The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure management. The position requires creating and maintaining environment-specific Kubernetes configuration packages with STIG-aligned hardening and RBAC enforcement. Engineers will implement secrets injection strategies using FedRAMP-compliant tools (AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault). The role includes integrating CI/CD pipelines for secure automated deployment and rollback of ArcGIS components.

Requirements

• Deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters
• Automating cloud infrastructure
• Implementing secure, high-availability CI/CD pipelines
• Working with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
• Utilizing observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline)
• Working knowledge of microservices architecture and service mesh technologies
• Proficiency in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security best practices
• Strong understanding of monitoring/logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Ability to implement STIG-aligned hardening and RBAC enforcement
