About The Position

Hansen Talent Group is seeking a strong software engineer with experience supporting DevOps focused operations and tools to join their Columbia SC team! This is a hybrid role with the ideal candidate having strong programming experience in Python or NodeJS and heavy pipeline management experience. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for providing tool development and support as well as optimizing and building CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment.

• Hands-on experience working in DevOps teams and pipeline management
• In-depth experience with Python APIs and scripts
• CI/CD support

Responsibilities

• Participate in discovery and requirements reviews to understand the business challenges and set technical specifications to meet those needs, working closely with architects and SMEs.
• Develop, support and enhance, and test tools using Python, NodeJs, and Javascript/Typescript based programming.
• Support APIs and automation, integrating new tools and workflows into the deployment pipeline.
• Manage containerization and container deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, etc.
• Provide tool administration as needed, collaborating with the systems and server teams.
• Enhance the CI/CD pipeline working with Jenkins, Github , and Artifactory.
• Participate in on-call rotation to support 24x7 operations.
