About The Position

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, configuring, and managing automated CI/CD pipelines to support the continuous integration, testing, and deployment of applications. You will deploy and manage a variety of AWS services, ensuring optimal configuration and security. Automation of application builds, deployments, and infrastructure updates through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools integrated into CI/CD workflows will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will also monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure, collaborate with cross-functional teams, support cloud migration and modernization initiatives, and enforce security best practices.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Terraform, including modules, state management, and provider configurations for AWS.
  • Strong experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, and AWS CodeBuild.
  • Hands-on expertise with AWS cloud services, including EC2, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC, Route53, Security Groups, and MSK.
  • Experience managing containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
  • Firm understanding of infrastructure provisioning, automation, and cloud operations.
  • Familiarity with configuration management and scripting using Bash, Python, or similar.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying technical challenges and solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • AWS Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or AWS Solutions Architect.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for cloud-native environments.
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers and participate in DevOps culture improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Build, configure, and manage automated CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration, testing, and deployment of applications.
  • Deploy and manage AWS services, including EC2, EKS, S3, MSK, Lambda, and RDS, ensuring optimal configuration and security.
  • Automate application builds, deployments, and infrastructure updates by integrating IaC tools into CI/CD workflows.
  • Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and other logging/monitoring solutions.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows and enhance deployment automation.
  • Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and performance improvements.
  • Enforce security best practices, including IAM roles, policies, secrets management, and network configuration.
