About The Position

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to lead the design and management of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud platform operations supporting machine learning and analytics workloads. We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years! This role is located at a client site in either Reston, VA or Plano, TX. A hybrid working model is acceptable. In this role, you will be responsible for building reliable deployment pipelines, managing infrastructure as code, and ensuring scalable, secure environments across AWS. You'll work closely with engineering, platform, and security teams to enable efficient delivery while maintaining high standards for operational excellence, compliance, and cost optimization. This is a hybrid role based in Reston, VA, requiring three days onsite and two days remote each week.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant DevOps or cloud engineering experience
  • Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitLab
  • Solid background in infrastructure as code, especially using Terraform
  • Comfortable working with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Good understanding of AWS services (IAM, ECR, ECS/EKS, SageMaker) and cloud-native architecture
  • Experience setting up monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks
  • Ability to implement deployment safeguards such as approval gates and rollback strategies
  • Familiarity with cost monitoring and optimizing cloud resource usage
  • Experience collaborating across teams, including ML engineering, platform, and security
  • Practical understanding of DevOps best practices in both cloud and AI/ML environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
