About The Position

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code, cloud platform provisioning, Kubernetes-based deployment automation, release governance, observability integration, and secure delivery practices. The successful candidate will support enterprise platform build and operations programs, including API management platforms such as Apigee, by implementing reliable automation and repeatable deployment pipelines. The engineer will work with platform architects, Apigee platform engineers, cloud infrastructure teams, security teams, application developers, testing teams, and operations teams to build standardized pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning, enable APIOps workflows, and support production-grade release and support processes.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in a related discipline
CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bitbucket Pipelines, or equivalent enterprise deployment platforms.
Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or equivalent tooling, including modules, variables, remote state, workspaces, and environment promotion.
Kubernetes deployment automation and operations basics including YAML, Helm, Kustomize, namespaces, services, ingress, secrets, config maps, RBAC, and logs.
Cloud platform exposure in GCP, AWS, Azure, or hybrid/on-prem environments with understanding of IAM, networking, DNS, load balancers, and security controls.
Scripting and automation using Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar languages for build, release, validation, and operational tasks.
DevSecOps controls including code quality, IaC scanning, container image scanning, secret scanning, artifact management, and approval gates.
Git-based development practices including branching, pull requests, tags, merge strategies, code review, and release traceability.
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and support experience in enterprise production environments.

Nice To Haves

APIOps experience for Apigee or other API management platforms, including proxy/shared flow deployment automation and environment configuration promotion.
Apigee Management APIs, Maven plugins, or API gateway deployment automation exposure.
Observability automation using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, OpenTelemetry, or cloud-native monitoring tools.
Security and compliance tooling such as SonarQube, Trivy, Snyk, Checkov, tfsec, Prisma, Aqua, or enterprise scanning platforms.
GitOps experience using ArgoCD, Flux, Helm, or Kustomize for declarative platform and application delivery.
Experience supporting regulated, multi-cloud, hybrid, or migration-heavy enterprise programs.
Builds and maintains CI/CD pipelines with guidance. Has working knowledge of Git, scripting, cloud basics, Kubernetes deployments, Terraform modules, and deployment troubleshooting. Supports release execution and environment validation.
Independently designs reusable pipelines, manages IaC changes, integrates DevSecOps scans, supports Kubernetes/cloud deployments, automates release validation, and participates in production issue resolution and cutover support.
Leads DevOps workstreams for platform build and migration programs. Defines pipeline standards, automation frameworks, release governance, rollback patterns, observability automation, and mentors junior engineers while coordinating with architects and operations teams.
Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Administrator Associate

AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, SysOps Administrator, or Solutions Architect Associate

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application, platform, infrastructure, and API management deployments using enterprise-approved DevOps tools.
Implement pipeline stages for build, validation, quality checks, security scans, artifact packaging, environment promotion, deployment approvals, and rollback.
Support Apigee proxy, shared flow, product, environment configuration, and platform configuration deployments through reusable APIOps automation patterns.
Maintain release templates, deployment runbooks, pipeline documentation, and environment-specific configuration standards.
Develop and maintain Terraform, Helm, Kustomize, Ansible, shell, Python, or equivalent automation for cloud, Kubernetes, network, security, and platform components.
Implement reusable IaC modules with secure remote state, variable management, tagging, policy checks, approvals, and environment parameterization.
Automate provisioning and configuration of Kubernetes namespaces, service accounts, secrets, ingress objects, monitoring agents, and platform dependencies.
Apply Git-based workflows for code review, branching, release tagging, change traceability, drift detection, and configuration lifecycle management.
Support deployment automation across GCP, AWS, Azure, hybrid, or on-prem cloud platforms as per platform architecture and client standards.
Assist with Kubernetes platform operations including deployment validation, pod health checks, ingress routing, resource controls, autoscaling readiness, and troubleshooting.
Coordinate with cloud and network teams for DNS, load balancer, firewall, private connectivity, certificate, and backend endpoint dependencies required for releases.
Support environment readiness for Dev, Test, UAT, Performance, Production, DR, and migration wave deployments.
Integrate code quality, secret detection, IaC scanning, container image scanning, dependency scanning, and policy-as-code controls into delivery pipelines.
Ensure pipeline controls support required approvals, segregation of duties, audit evidence, deployment logs, and traceability for regulated enterprise environments.
Implement secure handling of credentials, service connections, tokens, certificates, secrets, and deployment identities using approved vault or secret management tools.
Support vulnerability remediation tracking, security exception documentation, and compliance evidence collection for platform-owned components.
Automate deployment and configuration of monitoring, logging, alerting, metrics, and dashboard components using approved observability stacks.
Support integration with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, cloud-native logging, APM, and SIEM platforms based on project standards.
Create operational scripts and runbooks for health checks, deployment validation, rollback, certificate checks, smoke testing, and release support.
Participate in incident troubleshooting, RCA support, pipeline failure analysis, release issue resolution, and production readiness validation.
Support platform migration waves by preparing deployment pipelines, environment configuration, routing changes, validation automation, and rollback scripts.
Coordinate with API, platform, testing, security, and operations teams during release windows, cutover activities, coexistence runs, and hypercare support.
Maintain deployment evidence, release notes, known issue logs, operational handover documents, and KT material for support teams.
