About The Position

As part of a DevOps team, you will work closely with development and operations staff to implement and support a delivery pipeline that allows for continuous, automated integration, deployment, and testing. You will develop improvements to the availability, scalability, and performance of the environment. You will support DevOps techniques such as continuous improvement, release planning, continuous integration, continuous delivery, continuous testing, and continuous monitoring and feedback. You will also support production deployments and issue resolution (during on and off-hours on a rotating basis with other engineers).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree combined with at least 3 years of technical infrastructure experience
• Experience developing and maintaining a continuous integration pipeline using tools such as Harness
• Experience scripting and programming for infrastructure automation (e.g. Shell, Python, Bash, etc.)
• Experience with monitoring a production environment with tools like Dynatrace, Kibana and Splunk
• Experience with tools such as Git, Gitlab, Maven/Gradle, Nodejs, npm, REST API / curl, jq, kubernetes/kubectl
• Ability to research problems, identify a root cause, and recommend and implement a solution
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to collaborate with team members to ensure client needs and expectations are met or exceeded
• Active Public Trust in DHS or a component of DHS preferred. Must be able to obtain DHS Public Trust

Nice To Haves

• Experience with deployment to a government-supported cloud environment
• Experience providing production support for a mission-critical system
• Experience with AWS technologies
