About The Position

Natixis in Portugal is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer (French Speaker) to join its BPCE SI (Solutions Informatiques) team to work in a hybrid work model at the Porto office. This role involves designing, building, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure as code, and deploying/managing microservices. The engineer will also be responsible for implementing monitoring and logging systems, and fostering a strong DevOps culture by collaborating with development and QA teams. Communication with French-speaking stakeholders and documentation in English are key aspects of this position.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or SysOps.
Deep, hands-on experience configuring, scaling, and maintaining Jenkins (including Jenkins pipelines, shared libraries, and plug-in management).
Bilingual fluency in French and English (written and spoken) is mandatory (B2 Level).
Solid experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Strong experience with Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
Strong proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, or self-hosted).
Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or Go).
Advanced knowledge of Git and Git workflows (GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket).

Nice To Haves

Experience with other CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator - CKA, Jenkins Certified Engineer).
Knowledge of database administration (SQL and NoSQL).
Understanding of cybersecurity best practices in a cloud environment (DevSecOps).

Responsibilities

Design, build, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines, with a strong focus on Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
Architect, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Manage and optimize cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to ensure high availability, security, and cost-efficiency.
Deploy and manage microservices using Docker and Kubernetes.
Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog) to proactively identify and resolve performance issues.
Work closely with software development and QA teams to streamline the release cycle and foster a strong DevOps culture.
Participate in technical discussions, document systems, and collaborate with team members and stakeholders in both French and English.
